Laura Nyro – Angel In The Dark – RSD 2025 LTD. (LP)

Laura Nyro’s final studio album, never previously available on vinyl, is now for the first time released on New Land Records. Originally issued posthumously in 2001 on CD only, the album is comprised of her recordings from 1994 – 1995. An achingly beautiful set of recordings featuring a who’s who of New York’s finest session musicians of the time, including Bernard Purdie, Freddie Washington, Randy Brecker, Michael Brecker,  John Tropea and many others.  Remastered and cut at AIR Mastering, the recordings are given their best sonic outing to date. Pressed on 180g vinyl and housed in reverse-board sleeve. Includes insert with words from Will Lee, Randy Brecker, Bashiri Johnson and Scott Billington.
